UNOFIX HM 550 from UNOFIX is an EVA based hotmelt for curved edgebanding. Its low viscosity supports even spreading at the suitable working temperature and reliable processing across different machine designs.
The adhesive delivers high long-term bond strength on edge bands of different thicknesses. It runs on curved edgebanding machines at line speeds of 4–6 m/min and is suitable for melamine, PVC and HPL edge bands meeting the relevant standards.
Low carbonisation in the melt tank helps keep production stable, while easy cleaning of pressure rollers supports efficient line maintenance. The user-friendly formulation can also reduce consumption compared with equivalent products.
